Q: What is the VIP CLUB?
A: The J.C. Schütz VIP CLUB is a fan-club, but J.C. prefers to call it VIP CLUB. VIP means 'Very Important Person', and that's exactly what you are to him!
Q: I'm a big fan, can I enter for free?
A: Not at this moment.
Q: Why do I have to pay for the website, when so much content on the internet is free?
A: You don't pay to access this website. What you pay for is access to exclusive material which is not available for non-members (see below). The 1-year membership fee is also supposed to cover for the maintenance of the VIP forum and website, to make sure that you have a pleasant experience.
Q: I already joined J.C.'s newsletter, and it's free!
A: Yes, it is correct that the monthly email newsletter is free, and will continue to be free, even if its information is brief and general. By joining the VIP CLUB you are guaranteed a more personal access to J.C.'s life and a lot of exclusive content.
Q: Ok, so what is included in the VIP CLUB fee?
A: The 1-year membership includes:
* Exclusive Welcome Gift
* Login access to the VIP CLUB website and forum - interact with J.C. and with other fans
* Exclusive news and posts by JC
* Free song download every month, accompanied by J.C.'s story behind the song
* Contests - win merchandise and signed items
* 2 times/year a printed VIP Member Mini Magazine with pictures, info and personal texts by J.C.
* A personal postcard from J.C. congratulating you on your birthday
* Pre-sale access to albums, tickets and merchandise
And all this for only 3,000 yen (Japan; residents of other countries pay 25 euro).
Q: What do you do with my personal information?
A: We ask for your personal information to be able to give you a more personal experience at the VIP CLUB.
To your home address we will send: The exclusive welcome gift; The birthday postcard from J.C.; The VIP member magazine 2 times/year; Any prizes you may win in the online contests.
To your email address we will send: The invoice with payment details, if you choose not to pay by bank/credit card.
After you have paid the Member Fee, we will send the VIP CLUB login details to your email address, and your experience can begin!
All other communication will be made through email and online posts.
We will never share your information with any third party ever, and it will not be kept in any online computer system. When you enter the VIP CLUB website, you decide what personal information to enter and let other members see. No information is added by us, and you can change your information and avatar image at any time.
Your Login Details (username and password) that you receive after making your payment, can also be changed at any time to whatever you prefer. In case you forget your password we will send a new password to your registered email address.
Q: What happens after one year?
A: Your membership is automatically renewed at the end of each 1-year term for your convenience. You can cancel your VIP membership at any time, by sending us an email. The membership fee is non-refundable.
Q: I'm still not 18 years old. What do I do?
A: You don't need to be 18 years old to enter the VIP CLUB, because there is no adult content.
However, by entering the VIP CLUB you certify that you either are of legal age to enter, or you have the permission from your parent (under the age of 18) or guardian (over the age of 18) to do so.
Q: Can J.C. send me a private letter?
A: Unfortunately, J.C. is busy with his music (as he should be), and cannot reply personally to all requests. However, if you join the VIP CLUB, you are guaranteed a special treatment and the yearly handwritten postcard, written by J.C. only for you.
